Observations:

Mr. Shahid Durrani, Director SECPHC very cordially welcome and brief his Center which is running very successfully with the collaboration of "Star Project, Japan". Under the banner of "Star Project, Japan". Mr. Beig delivered a lecture to young disabled students and shared his experiences with them. Observations:

The overall condition of the school was very poor. There was 2 to 3 classes were sharing a single room. No proper teachers and furniture; even there was not a single chair for teachers to sit on. Mrs. Nighat Riaz; headmistress told that often she hire teachers from her own pocket to run the school. Mrs. Beig distributed plastic stationery boxes to students as gift. Each box contains 2 lead pencils, 1 sharpener, 1 rubber/eraser, 1 ruler "6 and 2 sweets. All the children were very happy to get the gift boxes. (Special Note: Next day; Mrs. Beig donated 6 plastic chairs to the school for teachers.)   click a photo to enlarge...

Earthquake effectee's camp and Walkthrough students of different schools

Observations:

They observed, in depth; the lifestyle and living standard of these suburban areas. They were told about a camp situated near the bank of river Jehlum; where earthquake affected people were living since last 11 years without basic liabilities. Mrs. Beig visited the camp and was very grieved and heavy hearted to see their inhuman life standards. Later; she distributed warm clothes to the families and stationery gift boxes to students.  click a photo to enlarge...
