Important:

• According to traditional practice only the first BISMILLAH before Sura 'Fateha' is counted as a verse. And all other "Bismillahs" are treated as 'Headings' for various Suras and therefore not counted as verses.

• Sura 9 (Al-Taubah) does not commence with Bismillah.

• Sura "Al-Baqrah" is the longest Sura.

• Sura "Al-Kausar" is the shortest Sura.

• Sura "Yaseen" is the "Heart" of the Holy Qura'n.

• Sura "Al-Rahman" is the "Bride" of the Holy Qura'n.

• Sura "Al-Fateha" is the "Baab-ul-Qura'n".

• There are 37 Suras in Para 30.

• "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" is absent at the beginning of Sura "Al-Tauba".

• "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" occures twice in Sura "An-Naml".

• The first Sajda (prostation) is in Para:9, Chapter:7 (Surah-al-Araaf), Verse: 206.
